<strong>Event Type<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the button <strong>Add new event type<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Event Type<\/strong>: <strong>Time Interval <\/strong>(occurs hourly), <strong>Date Interval<\/strong> (occurs daily), <strong>Overtime Compensation &#8211; Business<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write the event <strong>Name<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optionally, you can add an <strong>Event Description<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>color <\/strong>and <strong>icon<\/strong> that will represent the event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose whether the <strong>24:00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For events that span overnight (e.g. 22:00\u201302:00), it is recommended to split them into two separate entries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>one event for the first day, from 22:00 to 24:00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>another event for the next day, from 00:00 to 02:00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach ensures correct display and clear organization in the timesheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-date-interval\">Date interval<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the private settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Allow editing of own events: <strong>Events awaiting approval<\/strong>, <strong>Approved events<\/strong>, <strong>Approved events &#8211; team leaders<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the box for<strong> Appears in the timesheet report<\/strong> if you want the event to be shown on the timesheet and choose a timesheet symbol to represent the id=\"h-how-to-add-custom-events-to-the-timesheet-report\">How to add custom events to the timesheet report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Custom events can be displayed in the total hours worked timesheet.<br>To add a custom event and set it to appear in the timesheet, go to <strong>Settings <\/strong>&#8211; <strong>Event Types <\/strong>and click on <strong>Add new event type<\/strong> button or <strong>Edit<\/strong> an existing event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Important<\/strong>: The setting is valid only for <strong>Time interval<\/strong> events.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the box for <strong>Appears in the timesheet report<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select one of the three options from the <strong>Timesheet report Totals settings<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Inactive <\/strong>&#8211; the event does not affect the timesheet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add to totals<\/strong> &#8211; the event is added to the total number of hours on the timesheet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Subtract from totals<\/strong> &#8211; the event is subtracted from the total hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Permission <strong>Has access to reviews <\/strong>grants an employee access to all events and the right to: view, add, edit, delete, approve, or reject both their own events and those of other employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the steps to grant this permission to an employee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the <strong>Dashboard <\/strong>click on the <strong>name of the employee<\/strong> you want to grant this permission to<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From employee&#8217;s profile click on <strong>Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Permissions<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the box for <strong>Has access to all events<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To finalize, click on <strong>Save
